Our special alloy sleeves are designed to shield RFID signals and protect a single identification card, passport card, credit card or debit card, or enhanced drivers license (EDL). Secure Sleeve® products from Identity Stronghold ensure that invasive communications such as skiimming, relaying, eavesdropping, cloning and tracking of ID, debit and credit cards, and U.S. passports do not occur.
Each sleeve can hold one credit card sized card. The sleeve is slim enough that you can put your card right back in your wallet where you normally keep it with the sleeve on.
Millions of new credit cards are being shipped each year by almost all banks now that contain RFID chips capable of transmitting your credit card number, expiration date, and name over short distances. People can purchase radio scanners online for as low as $10 that will allow them to read your credit card information right through your purse or wallet. Even if your wallet is in your back pocket! You can block these radio scanners from getting your card data by keeping your cards in our Secure Sleeves.
Identity Stronghold products are approved by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to effectively prevent reading of contactless smartcards and passports. They are not forensically approved for evidence collection. For products that are approved for forensic purposes and evidence collection, use the Cell Phone Stronghold bag offered by Paraben Corporation through this site.
